Jackie G Michaels – CEO

As a successful business person, Jackie’s overall mission is to make a positive difference globally. The Caribbean region is close to her heart, as it’s the birthplace of her parents and her favourite holiday destination. So when the opportunity to distribute a sustainable product that could improve the resilience and infrastructure of the Caribbean she committed herself 100 percent to ensure its distribution and successful implementation.

There is a serious water crisis in the Caribbean and she has made a personal pledge to play a major part in leading her team to build a stronger more efficient Caribbean.

Nadine Ferguson – Account Director 

Nadine impressive career in education spans a period of 25 years and as a school principle her message was to ensure that each child had the best start in life through education. Nadine utilised her personal mission to educate and promote the values of sustainability and the preservation of natural resources, whether it be at home or at school. Leading and delivering themed focused days within schools to investigate the world resources and sustainability issues.

Nadine’s passion to educate continues as she plays a vital role in promoting and educating the positive changes of sustainability on our Caribbean roadshows to address the water crisis in the Caribbean region.

Kara Michael-Brown – Digital Marketing Executive 

Kara is the social media and digital marketing specialist who has a natural ability to elevate businesses in a creative and modern fashion.   A graduate of English and Creative Writing she has found her passion for establishing a digital presence that makes a difference in the world.  She is a millennial who cares.  Her interests lie in sustainability and wellness.  With skills of merging analytics and creativity, she delivers strategic and innovating marketing support.

Zarina McCulloch – Public Relations Director

With over 20 years experience in the travel and leisure industry her vast travel experience covers both consumer and trade, working on a range of campaigns from high-profile consumer promotions and press events to crisis management, agent roadshows, trade shows including World Travel Market and full media relations.     

Zarina has also developed key skills in international marketing within the Caribbean region, working with Barbados Tourism Authority, St. Kitts Tourism Authority, Definitive Caribbean Travel Guide and Caribbean Tourism Authorities.  Zarina has also managed communications programmes for Jacob’s Bakery, TXU Energi, P&G, Philips CE and the NHS. 

Joyan Best – Barbados Sales Representative 

 

Joyan’s successful career in the UK financial sector resulted in her gaining the prestigious role of bank manager at Barclay Bank. As a bank manager she was responsible for her team and ensuring financial products met the needs of their customers.  With over 25 years’ experience in customer service, sales & management she brings valuable experience  and professionalism to Water Saving Hub.

Joyan has Bajan heritage and decided to emigrate to Barbados to develop her career on the island she loves.  Her passion for sustainability and adapting a more conscious lifestyle has resulted in a keen interest in environmental issues taking place in the world and in particular the Caribbean.

Joyan joined the Water Saving Hub Team in 2019 after completing the Water Saving Hub Agent’s Training Programme.  She has shown commitment, understanding and a passion to ensure the next generation and businesses are fully aware of innovative water saving products and water conservation.
